Why do all Adelheidi products taste better than every other product in its class?We use all organic and natural ingredients, no artificials, toxins or preservatives. Every product is handcrafted from scratch on the basis of our proprietary recipes. We think food should nourish your body and never damage it. Our vision and philosophy is paired with solid cooking skills and deep health food knowledge. Making a flavor like ginger means for us to blend raw organic ginger and add it to our product. We would never use ginger powder or flavor oil. Hold it simple and real and knowing what we are doing is our secret recipe for tasting better.

Where is Adelheidi coming from?Adelheidi comes from Heidelberg, Germany which is close to the Blackforest. Her mother came from Lorraine, France and was also partially Italian.

Does Adelheidis crunch have a lot of sugar?We never use a lot of sugar but always just enough to fully satisfy your sweet cravings and give the full bliss with our products. We actually use half the sugar than in convential cookies. Secondly we use no grains and starches in our crunch as it is like medium-chain sugars which get broken down over time into sugar in the gut. Finally we add a lot of coconut instead which has the property to lower your blood sugar and keeps it balanced. Under the line our crunch has low impact on your blood sugar levels. That is why you do not get the typical bad side effects from sugar like sugar crush and rush or a sugar yeaper from our crunch.

Does Adelheidi have sugar free products?No. But we have products with no sugar added like our jams which are sweetened with apples and our nice ices which are sweetened with bananas and apples. We hate artificial sweeteners as they damage your body. We also do not like sugar alcohols like xylitol, erithritol, maltitol or sorbitol as the body breaks them down into sugar in the gut and researches about them do not give the full picture of what they are doing in your body and it is a big experiment with humans that is ongoing with sugar alcohols. Finally we do not like stevia as it is a natural insecticide being in the family with crysanthemes and we avoid all pesticides, herbicides and insecticides chemically or naturally. We do like the good old sugar but the right one and the right amount of it. We use evaporated cane juice in our products. Not too much and just enough to fully satisfy your sweet cravings.
